Secret Theories

Master Lynn Yap's - Fengshui Unplugged
"Buildings"
Some of Master Lynn's explanation about Fengshui in Singapore. . .

1) Mountains are the Buildings.

>Buildings can be metal, water, earth, fire or wood in shape. Their shapes have different effects on the fengshui of that place.

2) A Building should be built in harmony with the surroundings.
>Equal shapes and sizes speak for it all.

3) A Building should preferably not be near hospitals, temples, churches, graveyards etc.

>Too much negative energy is not good for health. Many people forget that good health, harmony (sheng chi) and wealth is all part of fengshui theories.

4) The Building should also not be taller than the neighbouring buildings.

5) Sometimes it is good to have a building opposite another building.
> #9#5 needs a building.

6) A Building near the sea or water fountains is sometimes preferred.

7) A Building too much shorter than the neighbouring buildings is not good.
>WHY ? Because the buildings are not in line with nature.

8) The way the main door opens at the Building is important.(either right or left).
>This is a tightly guarded "kept secret" that most people think they know but how many fengshui masters actually apply it in their fengshui checks ? How to use the doors ? Transparent door or solid door ? Which way to tilt ? What degree to tilt ? There is a reason/secret behind.

Just like Newton's first Law of Motion:
He said: "To each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". This applies to the tilting of the Doors in fengshui.

9) It is better if at the back of the Building, there is a real mountain.
>If not, create one. How to create ? Use your creativity.

10) A Building built after 1984 generally have good Fengshui.
>We are at the age of 7, so Buildings from 1984 to 2003 are generally good.

11) A Building built in 1964 to 1983 are considered "old buildings" and should go for some major renovations to bring in good sheng chi
>One can also do a "roof change" if necessary.

12) Buildings should preferably not be in red as red is a dangerous colour to use in fengshui.
>Red means fire in fengshui. Fire is Li. Fire is nine small triangles into one big triangle.(This is what I call a "Great Fengshui simple cure".) But Master Lynn uses chinese paintings/scented candles/lamps for the use of fire in #2#3 or #3#2.

13) A Building should preferably have more windows to bring in the sunlight.
>Remember one of the criteria in Fengshui is Yin and Yang. Bright vs Dark. Noisy vs Quiet. And #5 is generally a quiet star.

14) It is more prosperous for the Building if all the offices are occupied.
>Some Yang energy is good.

15) If the building has been built for a long time and no one is occupying it, then it becomes not prosperous.

>Empty buildings can give rise to spirits especially if the place is too yin.

16) A Building should not be built too close to one another.
>As the wind when passes through the passages, gives rise to sar chi. Too strong wind is also not good fengshui.
