Living
near a Highway has a lot of yang energy or fast moving traffic.
It depends on how you look at it. Hence it can be good or bad.
If
your main door faces the lifts, then it is not good. As when the
lift opens, the chi comes out to your main door but when the lift
door closes, it absorb neighbouring chi away from your main door.
Therefore, it is usually not favourable to live near lifts.
This
shows the stove and the water basin in the correct position. However,
if the stove is opposite the sink, refrigator or wash basin, chances
that the husband and the wife usually quarrel over small things.
And this has an accuracy of 98%. Hence the cure is to shift one
of those.
If you have that,
and wants to do fengshui cure without consulting fengshui masters,
then the cure is to buy a small "thin" table made of pine wood or
green colour table and placed it separating the two items. That
will do the trick. The wood coming in between will pacify the water
and the fire.
I have recommended
this many times to all my clients and they work perfectly as water
should never be opposite the fire. They clash, hence causing friction
between couples.
A
skylight like this shown is useful to create more light in the house.
Remember, a Fengshui
Check needs to consider the following:
1) The Ying and the Yang.
2) The Landcape surrounding the house.
3) The Interior Design of the house.
4) The 4 Pillars of the whole family.
5) The Sheng Chi and the Sar Chi of the house.
These are the
basic rules to followwhen doing fengshui checks.
If a Fengshui
Master fails to follow any of these guidelines, then he or she is
not doing a proper job as the job is not complete.
Usually skylight
is more common in Australia or other Countries where houses are
sometimes more than a 100 years old. I have done many "off-site
Fengshui" for them. And I noticed that most of their houses are
rather dark, so I usually recommend a skylight to brightened up
the homes. Different Countries, the fengshui cures applied are different
and the Culture is also different. We have to be very flexible to
apply the right fengshui cures for them. And remember the dosage
must be right.
If
your main door faces a staircase inside your house, then it is not
good. As the "chi" coming in to the house, will all go upstairs
instead of going to the living or dining rooms. Therefore a mirror
is sometimes used in the living room to attract the chi to "go"
to the living room and then to the dining room. If not then all
the "chi" will rush upstairs leaving nothing for the halls.
